Courses Available:
There are over 400 free courses on offer linking to a wide variety of different sectors. The courses have been identified as leading to good wage outcomes or to sectors that are actively recruiting – helping to boost your job opportunities.
Subjects range from accounting or business management to qualifications in agriculture, catering, construction or early years, and more.
There is a good mix of full-time, part-time or online courses available.
These courses are flexible and vary in length, so you can find a course that fits around your other commitments.

Cost
Free – If you are eligible for Free Courses for Jobs, the qualification will be fully funded by the government.
You may also be able to get additional financial support to pay for childcare, travel and other costs. Speak to your course provider to find out what support is available.
Eligibility Criteria:
You are eligible for Free Courses for Jobs if you’re aged 19+, live in England and one of the following applies to you:
- You do not already have a level 3 qualification such as A levels or an Advanced Technical Diploma (and you do not have a qualification at a higher level)
- You are unemployed
- You earn below the National Living Wage annually (£18,525)
Depending on where you live, you may be eligible if you earn above £18,525 per year. For example, if you live in London, you are eligible if you earn below the London Living Wage. Check with your local provider to find out more.
